Ol' South's World-Famous German Pancakes
Ol' South Pancake House in Fort Worth has been making delicious German pancakes since 1962! It’s a secret family recipe, but they’re happy to share their mix so you can make them at home!
Ingredients
- 1 package German Pancake Mix 8 oz. (link below)
- 7 eggs
- 1½ cups milk
- 4 Tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Place ⅓ of package of German pancake batter in mixing bowl. Add eggs, milk, and melted butter. Whisk or stir vigorously until all ingredients are thoroughly blended. Cover and place in the refrigerator. Let sit overnight.
- Preheat oven to 450°. Coat round pan with butter, then pour desired amount of batter into pan and bake about 5 minutes.
- Place German pancake on plate and add desired amount of fresh squeezed lemons and powdered sugar to taste.
