Cedar Smoked Salmon with a Sesame Ginger Glaze

Ingredients
  

  • 2 6 oz. portion of salmon
  • 1-2 teaspoons Ottavio Private Reserve Olive Oil
  • 2-3 teaspoons Adam’s Reserve Asian Spice
  • 1/3 jar Green Valley Ranch Reserve Sesame Ginger Dressing
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • green onions or leeks chopped, as garnish

Instructions
 

  • Soak cedar plank in water according to package directions, at least 30 minutes and up to 2 hours.
  • Heat grill to medium-high. Season salmon portions with olive oil and Asian Spice. Place filets on cedar plank and then put the plank on the grill.
  • Cover the grill and allow salmon to cook 10-12 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 135 degrees.
  • While salmon is cooking, heat a small skillet to medium-high. Add orange juice and Sesame Ginger dressing. Allow mixture to come to a boil while constantly stirring until the sauce thickens, 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove salmon from grill. Glaze with Sesame Ginger and garnish with green onions or chopped leeks.
