A gluten free, vegan friendly alternative to your traditional hamburger made with black beans and a special five grain blend, topped with tangy GF barbecue sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups five grain blend 4438911
  • 1 1/3 cups bread crumbs gluten free; 2017919
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil plus more for cooking; 5847011
  • 1 med Onion small dice; 1048214
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder 5228564
  • 2 tablespoons Cumin 5239553

  • 2 tablespoons sugar in the raw; 2367904
  • 3 cups black beans cooked, dried and mashed (make sure beans are as dry as possible); 5844220
  • 8 tablespoons vegan bbq sauce 3369388

Instructions
 

  • Sautée onion till soft and start to caramelize remove and set aside.
  • Mix seasoning with breadcrumbs.
  • Mash beans with fork leaving some whole.
  • Mix all ingredients and form into patties. Cook on flat top.
  • Serve on gluten free bun with desired toppings.
