The famous green sauce from Tex-Mex landmark Ninfa's on Navigation is reimagined here by our friends at H-E-B Cooking Connection! Here, it's paired with delectable grilled quail, as seen on Season 2 of Goodtaste with Tanji.
Mix all ingredients in blender and puree until smooth and creamy. Cook rice according to directions, substituting coconut water for water.
Heat a grill on medium-high heat. Season and oil quail and grill for 4 to 6 minutes each side, rotating occasionally. Serve sauce over quail and rice and enjoy!
