Houston Dairy Maids Grapefruit & Pomegranate Relish with Lavender Honey

Our friends at Houston Dairy Maids shared this refreshing twist on plain ol’ cranberry sauce. This would make for a delightful topping on leftover holiday ham.

  • 1 large grapefruit
  • 1 large pomegranate
  • 1/4 cup Bee2Bee Honey Collective Danbury Lavender Honey


  • Juice half of the grapefruit and cut the other half into 1/4 inch slices. Juice half of the pomegranate and scoop the seeds out of the other half.
  • Set pomegranate seeds aside and put the juice, honey and grapefruit slices in a saucepan. Bring to a slow boil and cook until liquid is thickened and reduced by half.
  • Remove from heat and add in pomegranate seeds. Cool and serve. Can be made ahead of time and keeps for one week.
