TwoRows' Cajun Seafood Pasta
Cajun food is made from the heart, which means it’s full of love! If you’re in the mood for a sinfully delicious cream sauce filled with delicious seafood and veggies, this dish will take you right to New Orleans. Your family will relish this quick-and-easy dinner, with just the right amount of Cajun kick!
Ingredients
- 2 ounces butter
- 1 ounce garlic
- 3 ounces peeled and deveined shrimp
- 3 ounces cleaned crawfish tails
- 2 ounces sliced mushrooms
- 1½ ounces chopped green onion
- ¼ teaspoon Cajun spice blend
- 8 ounces bowtie pasta
- 6 ounces heavy cream sauce
- 3 ounces pepper jack cheese
Instructions
- Preheat a medium saucepan on medium-low, then add butter and garlic. Once the butter is melted, add the shrimp and crawfish.
- When the shrimp is halfway cooked, add the mushrooms and green onions. Then sprinkle the Cajun spice over the ingredients in the saucepan.
- Add the cream sauce and half the pepper jack cheese. Once the cream sauce is reduced, add the pasta. Sprinkle the remaining pepper jack cheese on top.
