575 Pizzeria off Route 66 in Amarillo was ranked as the top pizza place in the nation in 2014 -- and when you try this recipe, you'll know why! This is the owner's favorite style of pizza. It's off the menu, so be sure to ask when you're there!
Ingredients
- 10 oz dough ball
- 5 oz fluidof tomato sauce
- 4 ounces shredded Mozzarella
- 1/2 oz Fresh Basil Leaves
- 4 oz pepperoni
Instructions
- Stretch the 10 oz dough ball to a 12-inch pizza.
- Add tomato sauce and toppings to the dough.
- Add any finishing spices you prefer.
- Cook on a pizza stone 8-10 minutes between 550-600 F.
