
Bumdoodlers' Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie
Ingredients
Peanut Butter Base
- 1 cup crunchy peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup milk
- baked pie shell
Hot Chocolate Pudding
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 Tablespoons corn starch
- 2 Tablespoons sifted cocoa
- 1 2/3 cups milk
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 Tablespoon butter
- 1/2 Tablespoons dark vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups whipped cream
- 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
- 1/2 cup Mini peanut butter chips
Instructions
Peanut Butter Base
- In a small mixer with a beater mix crunchy peanut butter and powdered sugar. Add milk a little at a time until it is creamy, but not runny. Then add into a baked pie shell.
Hot Chocolate Pudding
- In a saucepan, add sugar, corn starch, cocoa, milk and yolks and book until it is thick & bubbling.
- Then add butter and dark vanilla.
- Top the peanut butter base in a baked pie shell with the pudding and refrigerate.
- Top with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, & mini peanut butter chips
