John Soules Foods Crunchy Chicken Flatbread

Ingredients
Honey Jalapeno BBQ Sauce
- 2 cups ketchup
- 3/4 cup Dark Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Tablespoon gnion powder
- 1/2 Tablespoon Ground Black Pepper
- One 4oz. can pickled jalapeño peppers
Crunchy Chicken Flatbread
- 1 bunch parsley chopped
- 1 large flatbread cut into 1/3
- ½ cup Honey Jalapeno BBQ Sauce
- 1 cup white and Yellow Cheddar Mix
- 1 bag of JSF Homestyle Chicken Chunks
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes halved
- 1/4 cup red onion thinly sliced
Instructions
Honey Jalapeno BBQ Sauce
- Place ingredients in large saucepan over high heat and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to medium and cook for about 15 minutes.
- Place sauce in food processor/blender and blend until smooth.
- Place and keep in refrigerator.
Crunchy Chicken Flatbread
- Thaw Chicken in refrigerator overnight.
- Pre heat oven to 350.
- Fine chop fresh parsley and set aside.
- Place flatbread on a baking sheet. Drizzle BBQ sauce and sprinkle ½ the cheese mix over the flatbread.
- Next, top with chicken chunks, cherry tomatoes, onions, and the remaining cheese mix.
- Bake until the cheese is melted, and the chicken reaches internal temp of 165. This will take about 8 to 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven.
- Drizzle the top with honey jalapeno BBQ sauce and chopped parsley.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
MAKE AHEAD You can make BBQ sauce a few days ahead. BBQ sauce will keep up to 7 days in refrigerator and goes great with other recipes.
