John Soules Foods Steak Fajita Roll-Up
Take your taco Tuesday to a whole other level with this clever recipe that’s fun as a crowd-pleasing snack or dinner! JSF ready-to-eat steak fajitas make this super easy and you can completely customize it with your favorite taco toppings.
Ingredients
- 1 bag of John Soules Foods Beef Fajitas chopped into bite sized pieces
- Tortillas or flatbreads
- 4 cups thin sliced onions
- 4 cups thin sliced sweet peppers
- 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil for frying onions and peppers
- 3 cups shredded Colby-Jack cheese
- 1/4 cup cilantro
- Garnishes, Salsa, Guacamole, Sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large skillet, add 2 Tablespoons oil and turn to medium heat. Add onions and peppers and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until the vegetables begin to soften.
- Add in JSF Beef Fajitas and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes or until internal temp reaches 165 and vegetables have softened.
- Place tortillas or flatbreads on a workspace and spread cheese over the top, then layer peppers and onions and top with JSF beef fajitas.
- Place in the oven for 5 to 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
- Slowly roll your tortilla up and start slicing into bite sized strips. Secure with toothpicks and serve with guacamole and salsa!
