Mi Tradición's “Hawaiiana” Torta

Ingredients
  

  • 4 oz beef top round thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • Milk and eggwash (1 cup milk, with 1 egg beaten)
  • 1 telera roll or sandwich roll of choice
  • 2 oz sliced ham
  • 1 oz sliced Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1-2 slices of fresh sliced pineapple rings
  • 1 oz chipotle mayo
  • 1/4 avocado (cut into slices)
  • 1 oz Shredded Lettuce
  • 2-3 slices of tomato
  • Jalapeno sliced (pickled) for garnish if desired

Instructions
 

  • Begin by eggwashing cutlet, dip in breading and fry or grill in pan.
  • Slice roll in half and brown in the fry pan grill.
  • Warm ham and pineapple in fry pan.
  • Spread chipotle mayo in on both sides of roll and lay milanesa on bottom, top with ham, cheese and pineapple slices, assemble veggies on top.
