Helen’s Creamed Corn
My beloved Mother-in-law made this dish every single holiday, and we never got enough of it. It’s wonderful, and I always think of dear Helen when I prepare it now.
Ingredients
- 2 cans Creamed corn
- 4 ears of Corn shucked
- 4 T Butter cut into pats
- lb ½Bacon fried and chopped
- ½ Bell pepper chopped
- ½ Onion chopped
- 2 Cloves of garlic finely chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in an oblong pyrex dish. Place butter pats randomly on top. Bake at 350 for approx. 30 - 40 minutes until bubbly and slightly browned around the edges.
