Barlata's Gambas Al Ajillo (Sizzling Garlic Shrimp)
Shrimp with garlic and adobo from Barlata Tapas Bar in Austin, TX!
- 1 oz. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic slivered
- 6-7 fresh peeled shrimp size 21-25
- 1 dry red chili pepper
- 1/2 t paprika
- 1/2 t pimenton
- 1 t salt
- chopped fresh parsley
- Heat a small iron skillet on top of a burner. Add the oil, when hot add garlic and shrimp, cook on high heat until one side is cooked, then turn over, add the chili pepper, paprika, pimenton and salt, finish cooking, turn off and sprinkle with the chopped parsley, serve sizzling.
