
Buttermilk Pies from JW's Steakhouse
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3½ cups sugar
- 6 eggs
- 6 Tbsp flour
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325℉.
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar.
- Mix in eggs and flour and beat until fluffy.
- Fold in buttermilk and vanilla.
- Divide into two unbaked pie shells and bake about 40 minutes at 325℉ (or until it doesn’t jiggle in the middle.) Cover edges with foil if the pie crust browns too fast.
