Lavender Scented Sangria
You could make your own sangria from scratch, but why would you when there's a bottle that's made from ALL organic fruit juices and tastes fabulous. It's called Eppa and is readily available at H-E-B and other wine retailers. It costs about $11 a bottle and comes in red and white varieties. This delightful recipe will start your party anywhere...
- ½ bottle club soda
- 2 bottles Eppa SupraFruta White Sangria
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon Culinary Lavender
- In a small saucepan, bring the sugar and water to a boil...add culinary lavender buds and stir until sugar is dissolved. Let cool completely then strain to remove all buds.
- In a pitcher, combine the Eppa Sangria and club soda. Add the cooled, strained lavender water. At this point you can add whatever sliced fruit you like to the mix. Serve over ice.
