Z'Tejas Smoked Strawberry Margarita
Smoky and sweet -- what's not to love about this totally Texan margarita from my friends at Z-Tejas in Austin! Made with blanco tequila, mezcal, muddled strawberries and garnished with a lime wheel.
Ingredients
- 1 oz El Silencio Espadin Mezcal
- ½ oz Hornitos Blanco
- ¾ oz strawberry purée or 3-5 fresh strawberries crushed
- 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 1 oz Agave Nectar*
Instructions
- In a pint glass combine agave nectar, lime juice, strawberry puree, Hornitos Blanco and El Silencio Espadin Mezcal.
- Add ice to the pint glass, cover and shake vigorously for 15-30 seconds. Strain into an ice filled glass.
- Garnish with a lime wheel.
