Nerdvana Hadouken Beef recipe

Ingredients
  

Hadouken Beef recipe

  • 3 2 oz Pieces of Prime Filet
  • 1 teaspoon House seasoning use your favorite steak seasoning or a mix of salt, ground peppercorns and garlic powder
  • 1 Tablespoon blended oil
  • 3 oz Hadouken sauce *See below
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon thinly sliced Scallion for garnish

Hadouken Sauce Recipe

  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 Tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped peeled fresh ginger
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions
 

  • Heat a small pan over med/high. Add oil.
  • Season steak with steak seasoning (or salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste).
  • Sear on both sides until desired temperature.
  • Deglaze, the steak, with 1 oz of the Hadouken Sauce* and remove from heat.

Plating

  • Place the steak, starting from the left, tip facing south, then south-east, then east.
  • Place the remaining sauce in a ramekin and place to the right of the steak.
  • Garnish with the scallions on each steak medallion.
  • Wipe the plate and sell.

Hadouken Sauce

  • Blend first 9 ingredients in food processor. With machine running, gradually add oil and process until well blended. (Can be prepared 1 day ahead. Cover and refrigerate. Let stand 30 minutes at room temperature before using.)
  • Then add cayenne and chile peppers to taste. Mix thoroughly.
