Apple Almond Oatmeal

Oatmeal. It’s good for you, it’s delicious…and it’s one of the heartiest breakfasts you can have. In honor of Nationional Oatmeal Month, enjoy some this January!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups old-fashioned oatmeal not instant
  • 1 cup low-fat milk
  • 2 medium apples – cored and peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup crushed almonds
  • 2 Tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Oatmeal. It’s good for you, it’s delicious…and it’s one of the heartiest breakfasts you can have. In honor of Nationional Oatmeal Month, enjoy some this January!
  • Cook oatmeal per package directions.
  • Stir in the apple pieces, 3/4 of the nuts, cinnamon and maple syrup.
  • Distribute oats among four bowls. Top with milk and remaining almonds.
