Peanut Butter Pie from Southern Dough

Ingredients
  

For the Oreo Pie Crust

  • cups crushed oreo bits
  • Tbsp sugar
  • 5 Tbsp butter, melted

For the Peanut Butter Pie Filling

  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Whipped Cream Topping

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Toppings (optional)

  • Heath bits and Crushed peanut mix, Chocolate Sauce, Caramel Sauce

Instructions
 

For Oreo Pie Crust

  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl thoroughly and press into a pie pan.
  • Bake for 8 minutes at 300℉ and cool.

For Peanut Butter Pie Filling

  • In a mixing bowl add the following ingredients in listed order and mix
    until smooth and creamy:
  • 1. Add cream cheese and whip.
  • 2. Add powdered sugar and continue mixing.
  • 2. Add peanut butter and continue mixing.
  • 4. Add vanilla and heavy cream and mix until smooth.

For Whipped Cream Topping

  • Add all ingredients to a mixer and whip until desired thickness.

To Assemble

  • Pour peanut butter pie filling into cooled pie crust. Top with whipped cream and optional toppings. Chill in the refrigerator for at least two hours or overnight. Enjoy!
