
Peanut Butter Pie from Southern Dough
Ingredients
For the Oreo Pie Crust
- 1½ cups crushed oreo bits
- 1½ Tbsp sugar
- 5 Tbsp butter, melted
For the Peanut Butter Pie Filling
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Whipped Cream Topping
- 2 cups heavy cream
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Toppings (optional)
- Heath bits and Crushed peanut mix, Chocolate Sauce, Caramel Sauce
Instructions
For Oreo Pie Crust
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl thoroughly and press into a pie pan.
- Bake for 8 minutes at 300℉ and cool.
For Peanut Butter Pie Filling
- In a mixing bowl add the following ingredients in listed order and mixuntil smooth and creamy:
- 1. Add cream cheese and whip.
- 2. Add powdered sugar and continue mixing.
- 2. Add peanut butter and continue mixing.
- 4. Add vanilla and heavy cream and mix until smooth.
For Whipped Cream Topping
- Add all ingredients to a mixer and whip until desired thickness.
To Assemble
- Pour peanut butter pie filling into cooled pie crust. Top with whipped cream and optional toppings. Chill in the refrigerator for at least two hours or overnight. Enjoy!
