Boerne Wine Co. is your ticket to one of the most exotic collections of wine I’ve ever come across! Over 400 different bottles that range in price from $60 to $2500 are available in their fine wine room. I was introduced to three more this past time I stopped in. There was the Flowers chardonnay from the Sonata Coast. Touches of citrus, apple and tangerine really helped this one to stand out. Another nice cab was the 2007 vintage from the Darioush winery. It’s definitely an oaky wine, which makes it an excellent selection for tenderloin or even venison! Lastly, a special wine from the Chateau Montrose…a 2005 that was the beneficiary of a ‘gorgeous harvest.’ Pour yourself a glass and visit their on-site humidor as well!
