Many cheers for the charming Camp Verde in the Texas Hill Country. It’s an ideal time of year to visit their famed General Store — there’s no better place for shopping. Find an array of amazing products and fine food items gathered from artisans and producers around the world!
The General Store itself has been an active post office since 1857. It’s every bit as historical as you’d expect, save for a few recent renovations. One of which, the Kitchen room, has some awesome new accessories like this convenient line of silicone lids by Charles Viancin. Different designs that will seal to any flat surface, excellent for baking and storing food. It can keep the heat in or the air out, depending on how it’s used.
This is the go-to destination for that cook savvy person in your life. Colorful whisks, spatulas…countless other cooking gadgets and gizmos await. Not to mention the latest chef utensils as well. I also found a particular apron there I adore. Zip off the bottom and it becomes a removable hand towel!
Plenty of functional items for indoor/outdoor entertaining. Camp Verde carries a particular line of melamine plastic plates I’d easily mistake for china or pottery, they’re that lovely. And kid-friendly too! By the way, I haven’t seen a larger selection of Texas-made jellies and jam products anywhere else. This place is a true Texas treasure!
