Mother’s Day is the biggest dining out day of the year! Whatever you’re planning on Mom’s big day, I’ve got some great ideas on Goodtaste.tv.
Here’s a list of some of the places around town that are offering up a special menu. Remember to call ahead for reservations and for outdoor seating. The weather is suppose to be “Chamber of Commerce” gorgeous, so you can bet that those patio spots will fill up fast!
Boudro’s on the Riverwalk will have a Mother’s Day Special for lunch and dinner, so be sure to secure your spot on the patio. The cost is $28 per person. Their regular menu will also be available all day. And, be sure to check out their special drinks (like the Tomatillo Tango!) just for Mother’s Day.
Cappy’s Restaurant will have their traditional brunch starting at 10am. You can also order off of their regular menu all day.
Piatti will also have a special Mother’s Day gift of Italian Herbs to plant in the garden and their famous dipping oil!
Lüke, Chef John Besh’s downtown restaurant will be open during their regular hours on Mother’s Day. You can check their site for updates on what the Mother’s Day menu will be. They’ll also have traditional menu items available.
Boiler House has put together a delish brunch menu fit for a queen! Treat mom to Mango, Mint &Serrano Sangria, Ultimate Steak and Eggs, Lobster Cobb Salad or Double Dutch Chocolate Cake.
We’re told you’ll need reservations at Silo Elevated Cuisine! They will be offering a $40, three course menu starting at 11am at both locations.
Crumpets Restaurant & Bakery will have a special lunch menu on the Saturday before Mother’s Day. I’m told it will be a smaller menu than the traditional weekday lunch menu. Their regular menu will also be available for dinner.
Bliss in Southtown has a brunch special from 11am-3pm. Traditional favorites will be included, and you are invited to bring your own alcohol and drink mixings for Bloody Marys and other cocktails. There will be a small service charge though. 🙂
Treat mom to Rosario’s in Southtown or at the new location on San Pedro and enjoy a classic margarita, while you dine over their legendary enchiladas. They’ll be open their regular hours and will serve items off of their regular menu.
Get ready to head out early if you’re planning to dine in at Los Barrios or La Hacienda de Los Barrios. Both locations are expecting large crowds all day long. They won’t have a special menu, but you can order your favorites from their famous menu.
