Henri’s Cheese and Wine is an intimate neighborhood restaurant located off of Lamar that focuses on gourmet cheeses, fine wines and charcuterie plates. Their Parrano Grilled Cheese [above] is made of Parrano cheese, caramelized onions, and roasted tomato on sourdough bread.
One of the best kept secrets in the Domain, Copper is a locally owned restaurant and dessert lounge from Austin Cake Ball that specializes in sweets, cocktails and new American fare. It’s open for lunch, happy hour and dinner near Macy’s and H&M.
Copper’s Grilled Cheese Fingers & Tomato Bisque (roasted tomato and fennel soup) features thick, melty slices of cheddar, havarti, fontina, and muenster on warm, buttered Pullman sourdough bread and cut into fingers. When dining in, the fingers are plated with a bowl of creamy roasted tomato and fennel bisque for dipping.
