A great variety for right now is what it’s all about at H-E-B Montrose Market with Wine Manager Mary Busby – she really know her stuff! Mary and I share a lot of the same tastes and agree that a chilled white is just what we desire to beat this heat. The following three selections are just the ticket!
Essay is a Chenin Blanc from South Africa. Dry, crisp and clean. It’s blended with a touch of Viognier and perfect for sushi, oysters or any white fish. Or, perhaps some Thai food is in your future!
A new varietal avaiable at H-E-B for only $9.98.
This Chloe Pinot Grigio is an import from Italy; a great porch wine with a pretty presentation. There’s some beautiful fruit in there…crisp, clean and delicious for $11.99. Try with shrimp salad or chicken. It would also make a nice hostess gift…just saying. 😉
The Niner is an estate wine from Paso Robles, California. This Sauvignon Blanc was the Reserve Class Champion Gold Medal Winner at the 2015 Houston Rodeo! Still just $17.98 a bottle. It’s a crisper, fuller bodied wine than the previous choices. And worth every penny…
