Summer is here in full force and I can’t think of a better way to cool down than enjoying some simple at-home cocktails! The best part is you don’t have to be a mixologist to whip these up. Press play to get more details on some of my favorite recipes.
This eye-catching Lavender Lemonade is a recipe from my friends at State Fare Kitchen & Bar. It’s really easy to make and the simple garnish of lavender and lemon will impress all your guests! While you can enjoy it at home, you can always head over to State Fare and sip on this cocktail with their delicious Frito pie or avocado toast.
Another lemonade drink for you to try, if you aren’t a fan of lavender, is a Whiskey Lemonade. For mine, I used Redemption Rye Whiskey! The flavors pair perfectly when the oaky-vanilla taste of the whiskey melds with the sweet-tartness of the lemonade. The trick is to rub rosemary on the rim of the glass before mixing this cocktail together. It really adds depth to the drink!
My next pick is a Long Island Iced Tea, but kicked up a notch! It’s a premade mix from Ice Box which you can either drink it by itself or add RAYS Lemon spirit like I did. It’s a party pleaser, a perfect cocktail to make in a large batch, and all the ingredients are found at H-E-B! One of my favorite things about this iced tea is the ability to customize it based on you or your guest’s taste.
BABE Rosé with Bubbles and Mighty Swell are the new canned cocktails that are taking the world by storm. Both canned drinks are convenient to pack for the pool and take the fuss out of putting something together yourself. This pick can also be found at your local H-E-B!
Special thanks to my friends at KPRC for all the fun!
