Sitting on the patio and sipping a chilled glass of wine is exactly what we want to do come spring! Here, Jamie from the H-E-B Montrose Market in Houston shares her lighter wine picks perfect for sunny days.
Wine Finds:
First, we have the Chloe Pinot Grigio. It’s crisp with bright peach and citrus aromas. This will pair well with many light dishes like green salads and seafood. $13
Rosé season is upon us, so we’re pouring the Esprit Gassier Côtes de Provence Rosé from France. This has a lovely mineral backbone and is crisp and delicate. Compared to other Rosés, this doesn’t have as strong of a strawberry aroma – it’s more floral. $15
Red fans, we didn’t forget about you! Pinot Noirs are a great lighter-bodied option for spring and you can even drink them with a bit of a chill. Our pick? The Angeline Pinot Noir Reserve. This Sonoma wine is higher quality as it is made in smaller lots with better grapes. It has a great fruit-forward profile that is elegant and complex. $17
As always, you can find all of this wine at your local H-E-B or H-E-B.com. Bonus: Get 10% off your entire purchase when you buy six or more bottles.
