Tanji’s Wine Finds:
The Broadbent Vinho Verde is my go-to summer white wine. This Porteguse wine is perfect for outdoor sipping. It has a slight effervescence that ends with a touch of crisp citrus. $8
Sauvignon Blanc is another great wine during this time of year and I’m recommending The Crossings. This is a tried and true find – it’s consistently good year after year. Made in one of the premier regions in Marlborough, New Zealand, it has beautiful citrus notes, as well. $14
The Lapis Luna Zinfandel is a great grilling or barbecue red wine. It’s a lighter Zinfandel that has a medium-to-light body and flavors of blackberry and cherry. $18
As always, thank you to our good friends at KPRC Click2Houston! You can find all of these wines at your local H-E-B or buy them online at HEB.com. Don’t forget: Get 10% off your entire purchase when you buy six or more bottles.
