Rosé is one of my favorite wines! Though I drink it year round, it’s finally Rosé all day season so I’m sharing with my friends at Houston Life three different styles, all from H-E-B and less than $20! Plus, I have two easy cocktails you can make with them. Then to go along with these summertime finds, I found a spot on the eastern edge of Memorial Park, The Classic, with simple fresh dishes like the Seafood Pasta and Kaya Toast all served is a beautifully sunlit dining room. Watch the segment here.
Tanji’s Wine Finds:
The Urban Provence Rosé Cru is a traditional Provence style. It’s dry and crisp with a lot of minerality and a hint of strawberry. It would make a great beach wine! $18
Smith Story Rosé of Pinot Noir is a 100% tank-fermented, lees aged pinot noir Rosé. From the Rheingau region of Germany, this dry Rosé has a nice balance of classic springtime aromas and vibrant acidity. $17
Last, we’re going Greek with the Domaine Skouras Zoe Rosé. This is another dry wine, but has very floral perfume aromas. On the palate, it has a medium body and moderately-high acidity with flavors of cherry, raspberry with hints of spices and rose. $14
As always, thank you to our good friends at KPRC Click2Houston! You can find all of these wines at your local H-E-B or buy them online at HEB.com. Don’t forget: Get 10% off your entire purchase when you buy six or more bottles.
