Resolutions or not, wine is always on the menu! While it’s the season of healthier eating, cooler weather also calls for some heartier foods. So we’re offering some great picks fit for creamy pastas, roast beef and even a salad. As always, all of these bottles (and many more!) can be found at your local H-E-B.

Hold strong if you started this year with a diet plan. The good news – you don’t have to give up your wine. This Jack Cellars Innocent Sauvignon Blanc is only 50 calories a glass. You’ll taste refreshing acidity with flavors of stone fruit and hints of Meyer lemon. It’s a great way not to feel deprived if you’ve cut out some of your favorite foods. $13
La Storia makes some wonderful wines and their Cuvee 32 is one of the top! This red blend contains primarily sangiovese, Montepulciano and merlot grapes. The deep flavors of plums and blueberries topped off with a little spice make this a delicious cold weather wine. It’ll pair beautifully with roasted meats of all kinds and even lasagna. $20

Tanji featured two wines on the show on 1/27/22. One was Fitvine. The other was Barefoot. I couldn’t see the name of that wine. Can you help? Thank you.

The other wasn’t Barefoot but Innocent Sauvignon Blanc. 😃
