SAN ANTONIO
Lucky’s St. Patrick’s Day Crawl
This 7th annual St. Paddy’s Day event takes attendees on a bar crawl to a handful of venues throughout the Alamo City. Tickets include 2 to 3 drinks, cover at all bars, drink and food specials, a custom crawl cup, and more. Check in will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 16th at Howl at the Moon on W Crockett St. Click here to register.
Bud Light St. Patrick’s River Parades and Celebration
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day all weekend long with festivities along the River Walk. First, watch the River Walk turn green with eco-friendly green dye on March 16 from 11 a.m. to noon at Museum Reach and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. downtown. Then, on Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., there will be live entertainment, family-friendly entertainment, vendors, and more at La Villita Historic Village. St. Patrick’s at The Good Kind
Celebrate at The Good Kind with $5 green margaritas and $3 green pints on St. Patrick’s Day, along with festive food, a free yoga session and tunes by DJ Ira. March 17th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
AUSTIN
Cork & Barrel
Head to Cork & Barrel for its St. Paddy’s Day Birthday Bash to celebrate the restaurant’s third anniversary! This dog-friendly event will feature Irish food, Irish-themed drinks, Irish whiskey tastings, giveaways, live music, yard games, and more. March 17 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Kiss Me, I’m Irish Austin St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl
Join revelers for a 3-day pub crawl at 9 different venues along West 6th St. Register at The Cat’s Pajamas at 610 Nueces St. in Austin on March 15, 16 and/or 17. Tickets for each day of the pub crawl are $20/day.
Vista Brewing
Head to Vista Brewing in Driftwood for a family-friendly St. Patrick’s Day Party on March 17 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be a gold coin scavenger hunt – find one and redeem it for a St. Patrick’s Day accessory like a headband, necklace, glasses, and more. The Graham Wilkinson Band will be playing from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Jack & Ginger’s Irish Pub
If this Irish pub doesn’t put you in the mood for St. Patrick’s Day, nothing will! This pub will serve up plenty of Irish food and cocktails, along with 82 beers on tap, Irish coffee and whiskeys. Enjoy the street festival along Rock Rose Avenue with live bands, green beer and even bagpipes on March 17 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Live music starts at 12 p.m. on two outdoor stages.
HOUSTON
63rd Annual Houston St. Patrick’s Parade
Don’t miss the 63rd annual Houston St. Patrick’s Day parade! This two-hour parade is one of the largest in the United States. There will be an after-party in Market Square after the parade. Fielding’s Local Kitchen + Bar
Celebrate all weekend long at Fielding’s Local Kitchen + Bar. The restaurant will serve up an Irish pub menu and Irish cocktails from March 14 – March 17. They also have plenty of Irish whiskeys on tap. On St. Patrick’s Day, guests will receive festive party favors.
McIntyre’s Downtown
Celebrate the 3rd annual St. Patrick’s Day extravaganza at the downtown location of McIntyre’s. It’s a three-story party with live music, DJs, plenty of green beer and other festivities. March 16 and 17 from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
DALLAS/FORT WORTH
Dallas Mavs St. Patrick’s Parade & Festival
On Saturday, March 16, don’t miss the Dallas Mav St. Patrick’s Parade from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The parade starts at Greenville Ave at Blackwell St at 11 a.m. With thousands of attendees and more than 90 floats, this is one of the largest St. Patrick’s Day parades in the country!
Gillespie’s Tavern at the Shire
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with live music and giveaways at Gillespie’s. On Friday, March 15, Irish band Kinfolk will be playing, starting at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, March 16, Plunk Murray will be playing Celtic tunes (along with not-so-Celtic tunes) starting at 4 p.m. On Sunday, March 17, there will be live music by Slugger’s Rule, Plunk Murray, Irish bagpipers and more!
