Summer seems to be getting longer and hotter but I have found some unique wines to break the monotony of these sweltering days.
Pasqua’s 11 Minutes Rosé de Venezie is the perfect porch wine with a light and crisp flavor. Rosé all day, any day and every day is fine by me! Domaine de la Perrière’s Sancerre is a beautiful and authentic French Sauvignon Blanc that would be a fun, new addition to any party or food pairing. It has a rich, tempered mouthfeel and is bright and acidic. Villa Pozzi’s Nero D’Avola is a sharp contrast from well-known, often robust, red wines. This red is unique because of its lighter flare and was made to be enjoyed with Sicilian seafood, so you won’t feel weighed down after a glass.
Remember to choose wines based on their region of origin. During the summertime, stick to wines from hotter climates. They will be the ones that are bright and refreshing and that will keep you cool all summer long! The best part about being adventurous and trying new wines is that you won’t break the bank with these finds!
