Tanji popped into News4 San Antonio last week to kick off an all-new season of Goodtaste! It’s season 10, y’all! Tanji introduced a segment that will be brand-new to the new season called Goodtaste for the Soul – a celebration of all the good things in life. One of those good things is a beloved restaurant right here in San Antonio – Mi Tierra Cafe y Panaderia. The iconic restaurant is a celebration for the senses! Tanji says, if you’re in a bad mood, Mi Tierra will put you in a good one real quick! There are so many great things on the menu at Mi Tierra, but if you need some help, you can’t go wrong with the enchiladas, the menudo, the barbacoa, or those famous margaritas! And when the new season kicks off, you’ll have plenty more new restaurants to try that get the Goodtaste stamp of approval. In the first episode, Tanji will introduce you to the guys behind Burnt Bean Company in Seguin – they’ve been recognized by James Beard and boy, is it well-deserved!
