Tanji dropped by CBS Austin last week to talk about the all-new season of Goodtaste, which kicks off October 18th! Goodtaste is now in its 10th season, and this might just be the best season yet! Tanji shared her excitement for the new season and said the food is outstanding, of course, but this season – and every season – is really all about the people behind each restaurant. She gave a special shoutout to Jack Gilmore from Jack Allen’s Kitchen, which was featured in the very first episode of Goodtaste all those years ago! Tanji shared some of her favorite bites from Jack Allen’s, including the famous pimento cheese and homemade crackers, the barbacoa stackers, the seasonal salads, their famous grilled trout, and the decadent blondie brownie pie! Of course, Tanji also brought along a couple of her favorite wine finds to help get the party started! Check out the full segment right here.
Tanji’s Picks:
Luchi Prosecco Extra Dry ($9)
The Calling Dutton Ranch Chardonnay ($35)
You can find your favorite bottles of wine (and many more) at your local H-E-B. Wine prices and availability are subject to change and may vary.
