Doc's 512 Brewery Pecan Porter Chili
Old fashioned chili is flavored with the delicious local beeer, the 512 Pecan Porter! It's one of the signature toppings on the Pecan Porter Chili Burger at Doc's Bar & Grill in Austin!
Ingredients
- 1 lbs. Ground Beef
- 1 yellow onion
- 1 Tbsp Garlic-chopped
- 1.5 cups Fire roasted tomatoes
- 1 tsp Louisiana hot sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/4 Cup Pecan Porter
- 1.5 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
Instructions
- In a large skillet brown the ground beef over medium high heat and drain the fat. Add the onions and continue to cook till onions are tender. Add the garlic and cook 1 more minute.
- Transfer the mixture to a 4 quart stock pot or a crockpot. Add the remaining ingredients and cook on medium low for 2-3 hours until tender.
- You can add the chili as a topping to your favorite burger. Add pickled pickled jalapeños, onions, Fritos, and cheddar cheese to make it like Doc's Pecan Porter Chili Burger!
Notes
