
Cibolo Moon's Strawberry Jalapeño Margarita
Cibolo Moon infuses their tequila with strawberries and jalapeño for a drink that's got a touch of sweetness and a dash of heat.
Ingredients
Margarita
- 1.5 ounces Strawberry Jalapeño Tequila
- 0.5 ounce Patron Citronge
- 1 ounce Fresh Lime Juice
- 1 ounce Agave Nectar
- Lime wedge and jalapeño for garnish
Strawberry Jalapeño Tequila
- 1/2 bottle of Tequila we recommend 100% Blue Agave Blanco (Silver)
- 1 carton of strawberries
- 1 Jalapeño
Instructions
Margarita
- Combine tequila, Citronge, lime juice and agave nectar.
- Rim margarita glass with salt and fill with ice
- Pour mixture over ice with strainer.
- Garnish with lime wedge and jalapeño.
Strawberry Jalapeño Tequila
- Fill a clean airtight jar with a lid (like a mason jar) with a high-quality tequila. Blanco tequilas work well for infusing flavor.
- Halve jalapeno lengthwise (reserve seeds for spicier infusion) and cut the tops of the strawberries and split them in half. Place all the fruit and peppers in the container. Store in a cool, dry place for 3 to 5 days. Taste throughout to check flavors.
