Chocolate lovers – this is the perfect recipe – rich, silky and so easy to make. Your guests (or that significant other) will be impressed!
Lightly butter four 5-6 ounce ramekins. Bring the cream, mascarpone, sugar and salt just to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat, add the chocolate and whisk until smooth. Pour evenly into ramekins and let cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
You can serve with whipped cream on top (I add a little Chambord liqueur to my whipped cream) and a few fresh raspberries.

Ingredients
- 1½ c Heavy whipping cream
- ½ c Mascarpone cheese
- 2 T Sugar
- A Pinch of Salt
- 3 oz Bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, chopped or chips (I use bittersweet and add in a square or two of a high percentage cacao chocolate)
