Learning about wine doesn’t have to be intimidating or stuffy – just ask anyone who’s ever been to one of Master Sommelier Guy Stout’s classes.
Guy is hosting a wine pairing dinner at the new Gruene Door restaurant Thursday night, Dec. 17 in Gruene, Tx. Guy is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to wine, and he’s so much fun to learn from. It’s a real treat to watch him work.
The five course dinner menu looks fabulous and includes foods and wines from around the world like Artichoke Rice Cakes with Manchego paired with a Rioja reserve and Veal Saltimbocca paired with a Carmignano, a delightful Tuscan wine. The Gruene Door restaurant is a real gem – it’s just down the road from historic Gruene near New Braunfels. You can see more of the Gruene Door on my website.
