Kate’s Frosting Cupcakes on Main opened in 2007 after a long San Antonio summer of creating and testing original cupcake recipes. It turns out, deciding on a name for the store wasn’t so difficult. Owner Kate-Frost Feild’s name perfectly lends itself to the cupcake bakery — they are, after all, Kate’s own original designs!
The Main location is in the heart of historic Monte Vista, fast becoming a part of a welcoming and enthusiastic neighborhood. It’s one of my favorite areas in San Antonio…Mom & Pop shops line the streets and are frequented often by curious, smiling faces.
