Our look at Houston’s incredible Restaurant Weeks continues with some of my favorite spots to try. Keep in mind that in addition to the incredible meal deals these eateries are offering, a portion of the money spent goes to the Houston Food Bank.
BTW, the restaurants are listed in alphabetical order… 😉
B&B Butchers – 1814 Washington Ave
This Heights/Washington Ave steakhouse is a newcomer to Houston’s most amazing restaurant scene. This cool new spot is housed in an historic building and in addition to the restaurant features a butcher shop and a deli. Their RW menu includes chicken and seafood offerings but also their beautiful 16oz prime rib!

Carmelo’s – 14795 Memorial Drive
Romantics and Italian lovers, you’ll enjoy this cozy west side spot. Besides who doesn’t love owner Carmelo Mauro! See more from Carmelo. Lots of delish choices on the RW menu here.

Kiran’s – 4100 Westheimer Road
Kiran’s is a unique experience. The food here is an explosion of fantastic flavors, a fusion of Indian and American. Owner and chef Kiran Verma is incredibly talented! She once shared her secrets to making an exquisite naan with Goodtaste.tv.

Kris Bistro – 7070 Allensby
This Heights spot never disappoints. Housed in the Le Notre Cooking School, it boasts some fantastic French cuisine at prices that can’t be beat. Their RW menu is the largest I’ve seen and offers 6 different entrée choices! Desserts here are not to be missed.

Latin Bites – 5709 Woodway Drive
I’ve been a fan of Latin Bites for a long time. Chef Roberto Castre is a gifted chef with an artist’s eye for detail. His Peruvian and South American dishes are outstanding, so beautifully presented that your eyes will have as much fun as your taste buds.

RDG + Bar Annie – 1800 Post Oak Boulevard
Executive chef and owner Robert Del Grande’s Uptown spot continues to shine. From the sleek bar with its craft cocktails to the beautiful dining room with its delicious spin on Southwestern cuisine, RDG’s is a great RW choice.
