Hosting a holiday shindig of your own is no small task. Especially if it’s your first time to take the reins! Knowing just how much to buy can be as valuable as the food and drinks you’re providing. You don’t have to spend a lot to impress, just remember a few key tips…
The average person will drink (2) drinks the first hour and 1 drink the second hour. So, when planning for how much booze to buy, think in terms of (3) drinks per person for beer & cocktails, or (1) bottle of wine per two people.
I found these awesome artisan cheese & nut platters at H-E-B to compliment. They’re a nice deviation from your standard fruit or veggie trays; a ‘grab-and-go’ hostess gift for about $10. 🙂
My H-E-B Wine Picks:
— Anna de Codorníu (Spanish Cava)….$11
— Enza (Prosecco)….$13
— Gloria Ferrer (Chardonnay)….$18
— Vindicated (Cabernet Sauvignon)….$14
— Four Star (Cabernet Sauvignon)….$12
