I enjoy a good rosé year-round, but definitely during the dog days of summer. Those days are all but here! 🙂 When it’s HOT, something cold, crisp and refreshing sounds like a lifesaver! I found three I like from the H-E-B Montrose Market for under $20 – I’ll bet you can find them at your neighborhood store as well.
The French Bouchard Aine & Fils Grenache-Cinsault (2015) is a Provence style rosé that’s 70% Grenache Noir and 30% Cinsault. An elegant aperitif or accompaniment to a wide variety of foods- grilled meats, pizzas, salads, seafood or pasta are all game! For $9.98 you can’t beat it.
Le Charmel (2015) has a beautiful nose (aromas of raspberry) some nice minerality on the finish. This Côtes de Provence rosé is very popular–especially with a price of $11.98. Produced along the Mediterranean coast, it’s bright and fresh like summer!
The Notorious Pink is 100% Grenache from the South of France. Blush, pink and proud! Not as dry as most, even some tropical notes on the taste. This could make a nice hostess gift at your next get-together with friends. $16.98.
