Happy holidays everyone! We’ve planned your party right here with bargain wine finds from H-E-B and Ralph ‘My Wine Guy.’ It’s also a great time of year to save some additional $$ when you buy 6 or more bottles at your neighborhood store…ANY bottles! 😉
Abel’s Tempest Tasmania Chardonnay Pinot Noir
$16
A clean and crisp Australian sparkling with citrus notes, some nice minerality and almond on the nose.
Blazon Chardonnay
$9
You’ll taste a ton of tropical fruit on this floral, full-bodied chardonnay out of Lodi, California. Great with something like pork chops or apple compote. A real crowd-pleaser!
Four Star Red Blend
$10
Full-bodied with a smooth finish. If you like Bordeaux wines, you’ll love this California red with aromas of blackberry, pepper and vanilla. GREATÂ with a juicy filet or rack of lamb.
Blass Black Cassis Cabernet Sauvignon
$12
A full-bodied cab with dark fruit flavors (blackberry, plum) and distinct earthy notes. A match for lamb or ribeye!

What is a good wine to pair with a pork tenderloin served with a cherry sauce

A pinot noir would be perfect! Depending on your price point – I would suggest the Etude ‘Lyric’ Pinot at about $24 or the Elouan at $19.98….either would be wonderful and I believe HEB carries both. Merry Christmas 🙂
