Good news for Mom- fun new seasonal wines are already hitting shelves at H-E-B, ahead of summer vacation! Ralph ‘My Wine Guy’ at the H-E-B Plus at Blanco & 1604 has his picks for by the pool!
Voss Sauvignon Blanc – $20
This light-bodied white has flavors of tropical fruit with lemon and grapefruit on the nose and a crisp, lingering finish. It’s high acidity would make it a great pairing for something like white fish or grilled chicken.
Underwood Pinot Gris – $15
Underwood is Oregon grown and known for its canned wine. This one is a crisp, clean pinot gris with notable citrus flavors. Love the minerality on this guy too.
Penfolds Max’s Shiraz Cabernet – $21
A product of South Australia, this blend of shiraz and cabernet is big on blackberry, spice…would be an excellent pairing for any BBQ eats!
