You know I’m always looking for fantastic wines that don’t cost a lot. I’ve found three wines for you this week you’ll not only love for their amazing flavor, but also their amazing prices!
Concha Y Toro Gran Reserva Malbec
You’ve probably heard of the famed Concha Y Toro Winery in Chile, known for its delicious award-winning wines. Their Malbec is so smooth. You’ll taste blackberries, plums, dark chocolate, spice and a little bit of tobacco on the finish. I love Malbecs because they pair beautifully with all kinds of grilled meats. This wine is an absolute steal at only $12 a bottle.
19 Crimes Hard Chardonnay
Up next, a big white wine find from 19 Crimes. You may know of these wines from their interesting labels that feature a fun a story behind each. The Hard Chardonnay’s flavors are bold, with toasty oak notes and flavors of apples, pears, peach and honey. The alcohol level in this one is 16%. It’s priced at about $12 a bottle.
Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Reserve Champagne
Last but not least, a Champagne I celebrate with frequently. The Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Reserve is a true Champagne from France, made by a fantastic producer. The grapes used are Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier. You’re going to get lots of little bubbles on this wine and delicious hints of apple and pear. This is a very elegant champagne at an incredibly affordable price at $26 a bottle at H-E-B.
As always, I found all of my wine finds at H-E-B.
