I am asked this question a lot: “What’s the best wine buy for your buck?” In this video, I’m sharing the ‘best bang for your buck’ wine buys. Press play to watch and get details on these affordable wine buys below.
Josh Pinot Gris
Up first, the Josh Pinot Gris. I’m a huge fan of the Josh wines — they’re some of the best values on the shelves right now. This Oregon wine is perfect for seafood, salads, and just hanging out on the porch. You’re going to taste peaches, apples and a hint of honeysuckle. A quick tidbit for you: Pinot Gris is the same thing as Pinot Grigio. Wines made in different regions will have different flavor profiles, but it is the same grape. The Josh Pinot Gris is about $13 a bottle.
Martin Ray Chardonnay
The Martin Ray Chardonnay is a lot of fun for all of my “Char” fans. This one wins a lot of blind taste tests, with its flavors of golden apples, pears and vanilla. The grapes come from Sonoma County. You can find this wonderful Chardonnay at just $13.98 a bottle at H-E-B.
Hess Special Cuvée Cabernet Sauvignon
I didn’t forget you, red wine fans! I’m loving the Hess Special Cuvée Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is luscious with its flavors of dark cherries, currants and a bit of clove. It even has a hint of vanilla on the finish. This bottle is a big bang for your buck at just $27.98 a bottle at H-E-B.
