When it comes to special occasions, I always head to Masraff’s in Uptown. It’s not normally open on Sundays, but for Mother’s Day, they’re pulling out all the stops! The menu is over the top (view here), but also one of the better deals in town — just $55 per person. Make sure you get a bite of their Pan-Seared Halibut with Fresh Asparagus and Lobster Mashed Potatoes (above). Mom will also love their Bananas Foster Cream Pie.
Everyone knows Robard’s Steakhouse in The Woodlands is ‘the spot’ for succulent steaks, but they’ve recently added a delicious brunch menu. They’ve also remodeled their restaurant and it is absolutely gorgeous inside. On Mother’s Day, they’re offering an array of food stations that are expected to be absolutely phenomenal. I recently tried their imported Italian Burrata Cheese with Italian truffles and figs and it was to-die-for! (above) The Alaskan King Crab Eggs Benedict is definitely a new favorite dish with dots of caviar — sounds fancy, but this is Mother’s Day, after all!
Head to Kiran’s for Mother’s Day and spend time with the Mother of Indian cooking in Houston! On Mother’s Day, Kiran’s will be offering Tandoori Halibut with Watermelon Curry and a Raspberry Lime Cream dessert with Coconut Crumble. It’s a totally unique dining experience in Houston — something your ‘one-of-a-kind’ Mom will love!
