What happens when a legendary Mexican wrestling champion marries a Texas pageant queen? You get Cyclone Anaya’s — a Tex-Mex hangout in Austin that is family owned and serving made from scratch gourmet menu items. Watch the video here.
They serve delicious breakfast tacos like potato and egg, chorizo and egg, and applewood smoked bacon and egg all made with house-made tortillas. If you’re not in the mood for a hot meal, their Seafood Ceviche is always one of my favorite options. Lively flavors of lime and herb cured fish, shrimp and scallops delightfully come together and are complemented by a side of crunchy plantains. Don’t forget to order guac!
Cyclone Anaya’s bar is perfect for this Texas heat. Patio doors open up allowing you to enjoy the outdoors while still staying cool inside. Their jumbo margarita, overflowing in a ginormous gorgeous glass, is the perfect accessory sip on in this weather.
And don’t forget about our summer wines. View my wine finds from H-E-B below!
