I’m paying a visit to my friends at CBS Austin to share a brand new restaurant for the family, plus my most recent wine finds. This week, be sure to head to Fogueira Gaúcha Brazilian Steakhouse in Round Rock. They are open for both lunch and dinner and have an epic salad bar with cheeses, salumi, pastas, grilled vegetables and skewers of grilled meats. There is something to please every member of the family. After you stop by to check out this fun new restaurant, go pick up one of these exciting new wines to try at home. Catch the full segment here.

My Wine Finds:
Made by the same folks that make Don Melchor, the Concha y Toro Gran Reserva Malbec is a great budget-friendly option. This Argentinian wine goes beautifully with grilled meat; you taste hints of darker fruit like plums and berries with a little spice on the side. $16
Very similar to Concha y Toro, the Bodega Norton Barrel Select Malbec is another pick that is easy on the wallet. This wine tastes of ripe, red fruit and black pepper. It has gentle tannins and is very drinkable. $10
Last is the Layer Cake Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is aged in Bourbon barrels giving it hints of caramel and vanilla – perfect for pleasing red wine and Bourbon drinkers alike. It’s also fun for the holidays and a great conversation starter. $15
