The new year is here and many of us are more conscious about what we’re putting in our bodies. This week, I visit my friends at San Antonio Living and share a few delicious and diet-friendly foods, plus what to drink with them! Soups are a great good-for-you meal because they are generally lower in calories and are extremely versatile. Try Goodtaste’s brand new Fat Flush Soup 2.0. Looking to dine out? Check out one of my healthy go-to’s in San Antonio: Picnikins. Check out the segment for more details on these good eats, plus three wines that won’t break your diet. Catch the full segment here.
Tanji’s Wine Finds:
Domaine de Valmoissine Pinot Noir is a very food-friendly pinot. On the nose, you’ll smell raspberries, and you will taste notes of licorice and mocha with a fresh finish. $15
For a white wine option, try the Layer Cake Chardonnay. It’s crisp and clean with tropical citrus, guava and pineapple notes. $15
Lastly, try my new favorite, the Aime Roquesante Rosé. Rosés are usually lower in alcohol and pair with everything. This one is dry with hints of strawberry on the nose and mouth. $13
